First Week:
On the first Day of volunteering i never thought that it would be this way, i was welcomed the minute they knew i was volunteering, i would say i was thrilled to experience that. before starting i had this ache in my stomach for trying something new like this, i volunteered before but i wasn't dealing with "special needs" as for what i called them before. Got invited to watch some kid making a badge, never saw how these were made so i was paying attention and looking at his steps, his name was Ahmed Aitha and i got lucky he made me one. i learnt something that may not be a big deal but tell me if you can do that.
Later that week i witnessed this team coming back to ZHO with medals and certificates, sport certificates one of them got a gold medal in ping pong and this other guy got a bronze one in swimming. didn't get so lucky i couldn't take a picture with the Good Lads.
Second Week:
Visited the wood workshop and saw them making boxes, these guys are really careful with what they work on and how they get their jobs done.
Went to the music section and was able to take a video, its either they didn't memorize the lyrics or they were really enjoying the beat.
Third week:
Enough with workshops, i attended an Arabic Class, they were writing letters and before that the teacher was explaining the pronunciation of two almost similar letters soundwise, until i pop-ed up and he asked them for their homework.
Finally The Tailoring workshop, where the magic and dedication happens. i don't know but the vibe i felt in this workshop was different of how they were so into what they are doing you'll understand me when you see the pictures.
